"Exploring Insurtechs" - with Scott Aiello

To kick off our business/breakfast meetings for the 2019-20 meeting season, we welcome 20-year insurance veteran (and CPCU), Scott Aiello, to present to our membership on the subject of insurtech startups and how this growing new area of insurance is impacting our industry. Insurance is in a deep wave of change and a considerable part of this transformative process is coming from new, aggressive insurtech startups. As VP of Commercial Insurance Strategy at Simply Business, Scott will share with us, his first-hand experience working for an insurtech startup and how this differs from working for a traditional insurance company, within an agile environment. Please come join us at the Union League of Philadelphia, which will include our traditional breakfast buffet, and learn more about the growing insurtech area, while networking with fellow insurance professionals in a relaxed environment.

Also, at this meeting, our outgoing president will be presenting the Judy Vaughan Award for the first time, in recognition of several of our chapter leaders that have displayed outstanding dedication and service to the betterment of the Philadelphia CPCU Society Chapter and its members.
